Rural New Zealand, where there is a lot of insanity, due to the pollution runoff from the dairy farms ( 100% pure New Zealand ). This work is about being isolated mentally and physically. The woman in white waits.. locked in the remote countryside asylum for the visitor who never arrives .. Would look it's best in a renovated barn on a vineyard in Queenstown.. Hey! that is where it is. |

The Renoir painting that I have placed within my 'New Orleans faded beauty style of room', is in true life -175x131cm, of course it's the famous 'Ball at the Moulin de la Galette' painted by Renoir in 1876. In my minds eye I have tried to reproduce it to scale for the room that I have placed it in. This is an example of the style I like to use where I just love to copy an old masters work and incorporate it into my own painting .. can create a few headaches but it's generally worth the effort. Can I make a painting for you ? ... choose whatever artist's work that you like and I'll do the rest !! The House in the Hills
