French Provencal kitchen painting : 'Amanda's Kitchen' Oils on canvas. An interior of 18th century kitchen. The walls are a dark red with green bench and food larder. It is a small room, enough for food preparation and aspace for a country style table with provencal style table cloth. Sitting around the table are three young women in conversation sharing wine and bread. There is a small dog watching the artist (myself as I made some quick sketches). There is a soft light through the window giving a golden glow to the painting. An ornate old chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
