Mural Artist - Murals painted for you ..

Murals are a favourite form of painting for me .. I like the size and being able to work in my style of impressionism.

I have completed mural art in or on several restaurants.  If you would like to discuss a mural design for your restaurant / home or whatever, I am happy to visit and give my free advice and ideas (might just cost a glass of wine for the visit).  I can then go away and sketch some ideas for you of work directly from photographs .. interpreting with an impressionist viewpoint.

A mural could and usually is painted straight onto the wall or could be made up in panels depending on size  but obviously this is a little more expensive.

The medium of choice for me is fast drying oils for a mural, this allows quick completion which is obviously important to a business.

This is a sample of the mural art work I paint. Completed recently in Whangamata on a beachfront house patio .. So I will travel to make you a mural painting if needed at your restaurant or home.

The supporting post on the left is real, I have tried to match the hand rail colour with the wine glass sitting on it, to the original actual building post, colour and texture. The painted paving in the foreground of the mural, steps up from the actual paved deck outside the building.





The original photograph I worked from. Been there .. beautiful place ..  I added the poppies in the foreground of the painting from another photograph and joined them to the patio setting with the steps in the painting at the bottom.
