Jock was a Veterinarian and a great guy who loved life and creating things of beauty. This painting is of part of a pond he made which is over 150 metres long and part of his legacy to his boys. I think that Jock was attempting to re create something similar to what Monet had achieved with his lily ponds, although he never quite managed to build the bridge over the pond .. Tim's job I think.
